A water story on SBS
This Indigenous river community say they’ve lost their culture due to water mismanagement. “Water is life and water is these people’s lives. The Barkindji people have lived and hunted on the banks of the Darling River for more than 40,000 years. As dry conditions and low flows threaten the future of the river, the Barkindji fear their culture may be lost”.
